Moonbeam's Predilections

Not tonight, dear, I have a headache...

I glad today is almost over. Between chaos at work, The Invisible Man being cancelled (without warning!), the University telling me I can't graduate because my English mark was too low, my sister bitching at me, and that person who keeps out-voting me in this poll I'm trying to cheat on... I'm just about ready for bed.

Good thing, too, since tonight is my last night in my own bed. It gets disassembled tomorrow, the mattresses to be wrapped and pack ready to move out next weekend. My room doesn't feel like my room anymore, and I'm feeling adrift -- like i don't really belong anywhere right now.

On the plus side though, I have gotten back into the swing of writing. The Umbra prequel, "Cartoons, Crime, and Coincidence", is coming along nicely. It's a bit disjointed, since I'm working on all the major (re: FUN) scenes first, and will then go back and fill in the blanks to blend it all together. I'm still aiming at a month before it's done, but for you few Knight Rider: Fire & Ice AU/Magnificent 7: ATF AU crossover fans out there, it won't be much longer. And I hope it'll be worth the wait.

The seaQuest/Free Willy crossover isn't going anywhere, though. Sorry about that. I know exactly what I wanna write, but can't seem to make the words work. (Who knows? Maybe I really do need to retake the English Writing Skills exam. ::sigh::) But hey, it's not all bad. The same channel that so unceremoniously cancelled I-Man on me just as I was getting into it, will start airing seaQuest episodes on April 3rd. So I'll get to watch it all over again. :)
